In two separate universes, Prime Earth and Earth-616 have become merged by a currently unexplained phenomenon. The most intelligent minds of both universes are working endlessly to find the source that combined the two universes. While this is happening, there are new alliances being formed, new rivalries, and some of the other universes are opening holes in reality that are causing heroes, villains, and others from many different realities to pop up left and right. Because of this, many heroes have grouped together to form the New Saviors who's main priority is to figure out what happened to the worlds to combine them and make them so unstable, fix the worlds and return them to their normal stasis, and to protect the new world that they call Prime Earth-616.
